Privacy policy
How Pite, Jump Again!, and this website handle your information.
Effective 24 October 2026
Who is responsible
Pite is the independent game studio of Shalin Naidoo, who is responsible for the information described in this policy. Contact privacy@pite.dev for privacy questions or a data-rights request.
Your progress stays on your device
Jump Again! stores your progress locally: daily results, best endless height, coins, unlocked characters, your selected character, sound preference, and rewarded-ad counts and cooldowns. It keeps a backup save locally, too. We do not run a game-account system or upload your save to a Pite server. Your operating system may include app data in device backups according to your settings.
Rewarded advertising
Jump Again! uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can choose to watch a rewarded ad after an endless climb to earn in-game coins. Choosing not to watch does not stop you playing. The advertising SDK may connect to Google when the game starts to check consent and load an ad, before you choose to watch one.
Google and its advertising partners may process your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and app identifiers, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, ad views and interactions, and crash and performance diagnostics. This information supports ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation. Ad personalisation depends on your choices, region, and device settings.
Where required, the game asks for consent through Google’s consent message before requesting ads. You can decline optional consent in that message. You can also manage tracking permissions in your device settings. In versions with privacy controls, pause a climb and tap AD PRIVACY to revisit consent or opt-out choices when Google requires that entry point. The pause menu also links to this policy. If your installed version does not show those controls, update the game or contact us for help. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Google explains its processing and controls in Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Apple Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, Jump Again! uses Apple’s service to submit daily clear times and endless heights. The app keeps pending scores and a Game Center player identifier locally to retry submissions. It also retrieves other players’ display names and endless scores to show records in the tower. Your nickname and leaderboard results can be visible to other players through Game Center.
Game Center is optional; the core game can be played without it. Manage your account, profile visibility, and sign-in through Apple’s Game Center settings. Apple processes this information under its Game Center privacy notice. Deleting a local game save does not necessarily delete scores already submitted to Apple.
This website and messages to us
This is a static site hosted by Cloudflare. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or browser storage to the site. Cloudflare processes connection and request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, device/browser information, and security events, to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
If you email us, we receive your address, message, and anything you choose to include. We use that information to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Why information is used
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we rely on consent for optional advertising processing where required; on providing the service you request for game features and support; on legitimate interests in keeping the website and game reliable and secure; and on legal obligations where applicable. Google and Apple describe the legal bases for their own processing in their policies.
We do not sell your local game save or run a separate Pite analytics service. Advertising providers may use ad-related information as described above and in their own policies.
Storage, sharing, and international processing
Local progress remains until you remove it or the app’s data, subject to device backup settings. Pending Game Center scores remain locally until submitted or, for daily scores, until they expire. Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle the request and any follow-up, dispute, or legal obligation, and is deleted when no longer needed.
Service providers such as Google, Apple, Cloudflare, and our email provider process data to operate their services. Their retention periods vary by data type, purpose, account settings, and legal requirements. They may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their policies explain applicable safeguards, including adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards where required. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect our rights and users.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at privacy@pite.dev to make a request. We may need enough information to verify and find the information concerned. We cannot identify or retrieve a local save from your device.
You can remove local game data through your device’s app-storage controls or by deleting the app; backup copies may need separate removal. For information held independently by Google or Apple, use their privacy/account controls or contact them. You can complain to your local data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly to us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it. Parents and guardians can manage Game Center and tracking permissions through device settings and parental controls.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Material changes that require a new choice will be accompanied by the appropriate notice or consent request.
